Board - how to use both these to perform
rescues of both conscious and unconscious or exhausted patients.
Of
course, they all get to achieve a high level of fitness in their
training.
To learn all the techniques and knowledge involved in surf
life
saving and
to
absorb
it
thoroughly
takes
lots
of
practice.
By
the
time
the
kids
have
progressed
through
the
club,
they
are
very accomplished
in
the
use
of
the
Lifeguard
equipment.

Rescue boards with Nipper training boards at the front.

Emergency Bag with Resuscitation and First Aid equipment
ready for use on the Beach

Spinal Board. This is used in the case of a neck or
back injury, which is a fairly common problem with people slipping
on the rocks, or hit by a surf board, or being throw onto the sand
in a dumping wave.
